NYMMER
NYMMER is the latest project by the Berlin-based composer duo Lisa Buchholz (trumpet) and Niko Zeidler (saxophone).
Their music oscillates between electronic jazz, broken beat, and neo-soul, emerging from the synergy of their
individual inspirations and diverse musical experiences.
Lisa Buchholz studied at the Jazz Institute Berlin, completing her Bachelor's degree in jazz trumpet in 2023 and her
Master's degree in composition in 2025. She has been a well-known member of the national and international jazz
scene for many years and is also part of the live bands of several famous German pop artists such as Nina Chuba,
Sarah Connor, and AnnenMayKantereit.
Niko Zeidler studied saxophone and composition at the Jazz Institute Berlin and has toured countries such as South
Korea, Canada, England, and the USA.
With bands such as WNBL in collaboration with Moses Yoofee, he has been a key part of the Berlin jazz scene for many
years.
The sextet is completed by a select rhythm section featuring Max Feig (guitar), Steven Moser (drums), Joschka Oßke
(keys), and Chris Sergeant (bass). Their special musical chemistry is the result of their long-standing collaboration in
various formations and their time spent studying together at the Jazz Institute Berlin.
